Here's the Mail, It Never Fails...

...It makes me want to wag my tail.

If you saw my tweet earlier, you know that I received a package on my doorstep today. With the exception of bills, I love getting things in the mail and become embarrassingly giddy when something is addressed to me.

Here are the goods:

Kelly & Katie Jaylyn Leather Wedge in tan (DSW.com)

I've been searching high and low for some cognac wedges that I actually like. I didn't want to spend more than $50, and I scored these for $40 during a DSW sale. Sometimes I like the gladiator sandal trend. Sometimes I don't. These follow that look in a more understated way. Likely some of the cutest wedges I've ever seen. And pretty comfy too (so far).

Poppie Jones Quilted Mini Crossbody Bag in taupe (DSW.com)

I LOVE this bag. To appease my desire for a Chanel 2.55, I settled on this quilted, chain-handled little number. And when I say "little," I mean it. At 7" x 2" x 7", it's much tinier than I'm used to. For years, I've carried a series of oversized purses -- not quite diaper bag material -- but still heavy enough for my back and shoulders to notice. *Raise your hand if your purse doubles as a trash can!* So I sought a much smaller alternative in the hopes that I would be forced to carry less. Plus, the taupe color allows me to wear it with brown or black (I'm old school and don't like to mix the two). I haven't taken her for a spin yet, but I'll keep you posted on Twitter. =)
