Eight Most Worn

I wasn't going to blog today. Then I thought to myself that a nice cup of tea would be the perfect companion to a wandering mind. Water's still boiling, but I'll get a head start because I'm proactive like that. The eight most worn "tag" has been circling YouTube for quite some time now, and those are my favorite videos to watch. Since I don't have a YouTube channel, what better way to report my overused fashion and accessory items than in my blog? So, I'm tagging myself. A lot of people mistake this for a "favorites tag." Of course, if something is your most worn, there's a good chance it might be a favorite, but I don't always wear my favorite things as often as I'd like. So here's my take:

1) Most worn lipstick/lipgloss
Revlon Super Lustrous Liploss in #110: Life's a Peach

It's the perfect peachy-pink and feels super smooth. There's shimmer throughout, but doesn't feel gritty on the lips.

2) Most worn earrings
Round Rhinestone Studs

I couldn't find a photo of the exact ones I have, but these are kind of similar, except mine are clear throughout. If I'm wearing comfy clothes with my hair pulled up, these make me feel slightly less Istayhomeallday.

3) Most worn shirt
Old Navy Fleece Pullover

The one pictured is a men's pullover from Gap, but you get the general idea. My dad bought me mine when I was in the eighth grade and I've worn the snot out of it since. =)

4) Most worn nail polish
New York Color's (NYC) sheer french manicure nail enamel in #146: Love Letters

Pretty, pale pinks are my favorite on nails. I like dark colors too (NYC's Manhattan [quick-dry formula]) and slightly off-the-wall colors (Wet 'n Wild's Craze nail polish in the color Shield), but Love Letters (and others like it) are classic.

5) Most worn shoes
Converse slip-ons

I saw these at Target a couple of years ago and had to have them.

6) Most worn hair product
John Frieda Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Hair Spray

Awesome hair in a can, but I look down in shame over the whole aerosol thing...

7) Most worn perfume
Victoria's Secret Love Spell

Yah, I know, everyone has this. But in my defense, the Mr. loves it and I truly think the scent is uh-mazing.

8) Most worn handbag/purse
Rosetti East-West tote in Brown

The picture is a different purse altogether, but it's all I could find. Google Images was not working in my favor today.
P.S. Mine came with an umbrella. Five points for rainy day protection!

What are your eight most worn?

  1. You're so cute. I'm going to see if I can do this. My eight most worn are:

1.Gap Boyfriend Jeans - We had a 30% off coupon and I needed new jeans. I can't bring myself to pay full price on jeans. I wear these three times a week at least and now my husband is completely over them...I am too.

    2. Mossimo Ribbed Tanks - I have two black ones, two white ones, one brown and one grey. I'm ready for a new batch...

    3. Black Patent Flats - I had these shoes for about a year before I could wear them for more than an hour. They killed my feet! But then I got pregnant with Macy, and all of a sudden they fit! It was very strange.

    4. Stella & Dot Glint Flower CZ Earrings

    5. Stella & Dot Charm Necklace

    6. Gap Outlet Grey Cardigan - I actually sent Gap an email about how unhappy I am with this sweater. The sleeves stretch out and it starts to look really slouchy...not a cool slouchy...an annoying slouchy. But I still wear it - a LOT.

    7. Maybeline Great Lash - Its so cheap and I have been blessed with long, thick lashes so I don't need mascara with any bells or whistles. Hooray!

    8. Converse All Star Laceless Sneaks - When I don't want to wear my black flats, I wear these. I got them at DSW and probably should get a new pair in a more fun color, but they still do the job, so I probably won't.

This was fun.:-) It would have been more fun if I could have inserted the images. Oh well. Thanks for sharing, Vanessa!

  2. Thanks for sharing, Michele! You're my first commenter. I'm a baby in the blogosphere, so I don't really have readers. I removed my status update from FB, because all I could think about this morning was getting hassled by people for having a blog and writing about nonsense. But I'm glad you got the link before I took it off of FB! I'm going to try to update often! =)
