We get it wrong so often. We have God "figured out" -- like he's some sort of puzzle or a game. What he has for us is so much better than what we've planned for ourselves, and it takes a lot to accept that. He's not mad at us. He just wants to be with us. He takes us as we are. The liar, the gossip, the adulterer, the drug addict, the skeptic...the list goes on. Sure, he'll help you with all of that, but read this again and please understand: He takes us as we are.
Ok...that's all I have to say for now.
